Funders:
The Greenhouse Gas Removal programme was jointly funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) , the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
The Met Office and the Science and the Technology Facilities Council (STFC) provided in-kind support.
NERC, EPSRC, ESRC and STFC now work closely together as part of UK Research and Innovation. A representative of the Committee on Climate Change is included in the GGR Management Group.
Research Partners:
Research partners and others with committed support for GGR consortia and topic-specific projects included the bodies and organisations listed below. Total financial co-support, directly and in kind, is estimated at £1.4m.
